PRODUCTS BY UNICOLOR
PRODUCTS
Our core business
is color masterbatch and precoloring of polymers. We also produce additives
such as UV-protection, slip, antiblock, antistat, anti-fogging, and blowing
agents. Unicolor product range also covers multi-functional masterbatches
and masterbatches with a PVC carrier. We can also offer White and Black
masterbatches
Compounding and colorization are carried out in accordance with our
customer’s specifications.
OUR PRODUCT RANGE:
ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH
Our expertise includes not only the coloring of plastics, but also their
refinement with functional additives.Countless additive or polymer
combinations, ranging from antiblock masterbatch to laser additives to UV
stabilizers and many more, comprise our ever-expanding range, which is
always oriented toward market demands.

COLOUR MASTERBATCH
Our extensive library of color and polymer combinations reflects our
experience in the production of color masterbatch in an outstanding way.
Our color masterbatch is customized to meet the exact specifications of
each customer. We are one of the global leaders in several application areas
with our premium-quality color masterbatch and can boast a high level of
appreciation from numerous international top-level brands in the food,
cosmetics, and lifestyle industries.
BLACK AND WHITE
MASTERBATCH
Our extensive library of color and polymer combinations reflects our experience in
the production of color masterbatch in an outstanding way. Our color masterbatch
is customized to meet the exact specifications of each customer. We are one of the
global leaders in several application areas with our premium-quality color
masterbatch and can boast a high level of appreciation from numerous
international top-level brands in the food, cosmetics, and lifestyle industries.
WHITE
White masterbatch is available for injection moulding and extrusion. The only white
pigment we use is a high-quality rutile titanium dioxide TiO2 with a special coating
for the final application.
BLACK
We designed our black masterbatch for a wide range of applications, including
pipes, cables, and packaging film, as well as agricultural film that must be extremely
weather-resistant. Injection moulding electronic parts that require a deep black
color an a high-gloss finish can also be done with our range.
UV PROTECTION ADDITIVES
UV rays can break polymer bonds when exposed to sunlight or other
artificial light. This is the photochemical degradation process, and it is the
primary cause of bond breakage, chalking, color change, and deterioration of
the polymer’s physical properties.
A free radical scavenger – Hindered Amine Light Stabiliers – can be used to
counteract UV light destruction (HALS). For most polymers, HALS is
extremely effective against light degradation. They do not absorb UV light,
but instead work by reacting with free radicals (which are responsible for
polymer degradation). As a result, it helps plastic products retain their
mechanical properties and extend their useful life. A significant effect can
be achieved with very little HALS content.
- Increase usage time while maintaining physical and chemical properties
- Maintains the product’s optical and visual properties
- Applied to the majority of plastic substrates, including PP, PE, PVC, PC,
and EVA. - Protects plastic products from ultraviolet ray damage.
- Color retention after extended use
SLIP
Slip additives are substances that can be added to polymers to reduce
friction. They are introduced directly into the polymer during the extrusion
process and migrate to the surface as the polymer cools, resulting in the
formation of a solid lubricating layer.
Slip additives are a practical requirement for both the manufacturer and the
end-product consumer in polymer film structures and plastic packaging to
improve polymer processing and in-use properties.
ANTISTAT
Antistatic agents are used in a variety of applications to increase the surface
conductivity of various materials in order to facilitate static electricity
dissipation. Static electricity can cause a variety of problems, including
sparks and the resulting safety concerns, damage to sensitive electronic
equipment, processing issues in fast-moving production processes such as
textile spinning, and the electrostatic attraction of dust and dirt particles.
Antistatic agents can be applied internally, where they are distributed within
polymers to provide long-term static build-up protection, or externally,
where the static build-up protection is transient and will require periodic
reapplication.
Antistatic agents work by increasing the surface’s electrical conductivity,
which can be accomplished by being conductive, adsorbing water onto the
surface, or a combination of the two. The most effective products are based
on cationic materials, which work well in applications requiring maximum
performance, but they can cause issues in a wide range of applications, so
anionic and nonionic antistatic agents are widely used.
The most important markets for antistatic agents are plastics and textiles.
They both have something to do with antistatic buildup in polymer
substrates.
